Manufactured out of stainless steel tubing, these crash bars were designed to take everything that you can throw at it. The bars wraps around the valve covers and cylinder head of the lower boxer engine, ensuring no contact with the ground when tipped over, while maintaining and preserving the maximum lean angle of the R1250GS. Any impact is therefore absorbed by these bars and not transferred to your cylinder heads and valve covers.
