A visit to the southern tip of the African continent is not complete without stopping in the winelands area of Stellenbosch. History, scenery and tradition will make you return to one of South Africa’s most popular areas.
You will experience the remote and unique setting where the Indian meets the Atlantic ocean – all happening at the southernmost tip on the African Continent!
Get to know the world’s biggest bird up close and personal during a visit to one of the famous Oudshoorn Ostrich farms, where you will, among other things, get the opportunity to feed their three stomachs!
Back in South Africa, and more specifically during an optional day in the Oudshoorn area, you will have the option to ride what has been described as South Africa’s most iconic gravel pass – the Swartbergpass (Black Mountain Pass).
Feast your eyes on the Fish River Canyon – after the Grand Canyon, this is considered the world’s second largest canyon. Spectacular panoramic views await in this jewel of a place in southern Namibia.
We tour Kolmanskop, and take eerie pictures inside this Namibian ghost town with its sand-filled buildings – what was once a booming diamond mining town, is now inundated in rolling banks of sand.
Riding Namibia’s wonderful gravel roads, it will lead us to Sossusvlei, one of the Namib Desert’s most iconic destinations. Get your camera ready before you depart on a guided dune tour in the Namib Naukluft Park.
We leave the bikes behind for a day when we hop aboard our private chartered plane for an excursion into the Okavango Delta and a glamping night in the African bush.
